I still enjoy going to the games. In fact I will be going to tonight's game.
On a somewhat related topic, when I retired I received some very kind and generous retirement celebration gifts(more posts to come on those). One was from Michale. She knew I have been wanting to knit the Chevron scarf from Last Minute Knitted Gifts(currently 1273 projects in Ravelry). Michale knit this for me because she knew I have been wanting to knit this but knew I would not be getting to knitting it any time soon.
I wore this scarf at the game this past Saturday night when we played the Washington Nationals...and lost. Here is a photo of me wearing my scarf sitting with my mother-in-law Evie.

I'll surely be wearing it tonight. Currently it is cool out and raining. Will summer ever arrive in Seattle?

I grew up in Seattle - till I was in my 20's and come back every couple of years to visit my family. Is your scarf Mariner's colours? I bought some of it (2 ply in Mariner's and Husky"s colours) when I was last in Seattle but I don't want to knit socks with it. A scarf would be perfect. I'll look on Ravelry. Oh, I found you because I googled Seattle and knitting and you came up. Any chance I can get to be a little closer to home in the wwwworld - and I have really enjoyed reading your blog.
So in such a disheartening season, do you plan to attend Stitch n' Pitch?
Curious wanna-come-alongs want to know....
such a beautiful picture of you! Don't you just love the Chevron scarf!
Dear Retired Personage! I have been mostly outta town for the last couple weeks so a HUGE congratz to you for retiring. The first year is giddy - you know you deserve it but you can't quite get over it and are waiting for the other shoe to drop - but there's no shoe! I'm thrilled for you and look forward to "retirement" chat. Best regards from another retiree...
